Nan Huff, PhD - Equine Technician Supervisor - I completed my Bachelor of Science degree at Louisiana State University in December, 1979. In 2003, I received a Master of Science degree in agricultural sciences from Colorado State University. In 2007 I received my doctoral degree in animal sciences from LSU in the field of equine endocrinology. Whie studying at LSU, I was employed as a research associate by the Equine Health Studies Program, and later worked in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and Clinics as an equine emergency technician. I recently completed a post-doc under the direction of Dr. Mandi Lopez in the Laboratory for Equine and Comparative Orthopedic Research.

Toni Accardo - I was born and raised in Kiln, MS where I grew up on a horse and cattle farm. I have been actively involved in Barrel Racing since the age of three. I graduated from Cardiac and Vascular Institute of Ultrasound as a Cardiac Sonographer. I plan to continue working at LSU as an equine technician and enjoy helping to make a healthier future for the horses of Louisiana.

Shereen Andry - I was born and raised in New Orleans, La and graduated from Southern University with a BS in Animal Science. I aspire to one day be a veterinarian. In the meantime I am getting lots of experience and love my job at the LSU Large Animal Clinic.

Amanda Mills -
A native Texan, I grew up around the horse world and have actively shown horses in multiple disciplines my entire life. I recieved my degree from Colorado State University in Equine Science with an emphasis in reproductive physiology. Afterwards, I worked for several large horse operations and, am happy to say, I finally made my way to Baton Rouge to work at Louisiana State University . I have two wonderful horses of my own I enjoy spending my time with and I am an avid outdoorsman.

Pat McClure

Saybl Sprinkle - I am from Austin, TX and moved to Baton Rouge to acquire my undergraduate degree in Animal Science at LSU. I will be starting my Masters degree program in Equine Orthopedics this summer under the guidance of Drs. Gary Sod and Laura Riggs at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. After that I plan to apply to vet school. I enjoy cooking, horseback riding and gardening in my spare time along with spending time with my friends and family.
