Directions

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital's Equine Clinic is on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the corner of River Road and Skip Bertman Drive (formerly South Stadium Drive). We are right next to the levee of the Mississippi River, just to the west of the LSU baseball and football stadiums. When arrving from the east, north or west, the map shows the Interstate-10 exits to use.

When coming from the south via LA 30 (e.g. from Gonzales), turn west off Nicholson Drive (LA 30) on to Skip Bertman Drive (formerly South Stadium Drive).

The entrance to the Equine/ Large Animal Clinic is the last drive to the right before River Road. Drive back to the gate and during normal working hours, the gate will automatically open. If you arrive after hours, there is a call box outside the gate and you will either get in touch with the on-duty equine technician/nurse or the security officer, and they will open the gate for you.
