Welcome to the LSU Equine Clinic

The LSU Equine Clinic team, led by board-certified veterinary specialists and comprised of veterinarians in advanced training programs, technicians/nurses, caretakers, office personnel and veterinary students, provides comprehensive, advanced medical, surgical and reproductive care for ill and injured horses. This care is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including nights, weekend and holidays.

Private veterinary practitioners work closely with us and are a crucial component of our team that provides these advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The hospital is staffed by additional specialists in anesthesiology, cardiology, ophthalmology, radiology, dermatology, oncology and clinical pathology.

Our team constantly strives to provide leading-edge and compassionate care for your horse(s) while providing you with excellent and timely service. We are constantly working to expand and modernize our facilities and acquire the most up-to-date equipment and technologies so that we can continue to provide the best available veterinary care for your horse(s).
